I am blessed that people loved my work as Neel Thakur: Neil Motwani

The good looking actor Neil Motwani, who recently played a bad guy on Zee TV's popular show Kumkum Bhagya feels happy to get appreciations for his role on the show. People hated Neel Thakur (played by Neil Motwani) on the show which proves as a justification for the character by the actor.

In a conversation with TellyBuzz, Neel shares his happiness of playing a bad guy on the small screen. He says, "I have been playing negative characters since the time I have been a part of this industry. The character that I played on Kumkum Bhagya was a different kind of a negative character from all other. He was unpredictable. It wasn't challenging for me though but playing that character for this show was a challenge because there were lots of variations of this character in every episode. I am happy to see that the show became No. 1 and continued for few months."

Though Neel was happy with the appreciations he used to get for his role but now he is even happier to get a nomination in the upcoming Gold Awards. Talking on the same, he continued, "Everything is possible but there is a right time for everything. Keep doing your deed, expect less. I didn't do it for an award but I am blessed that people loved my work and they thought that I deserve to be appreciated. I am nominated for the first time and it would be very special to me if I will win it. My Mother always wanted me to be an actor and it's her wish that I should get an award. If I would win then it would be dedicated to my Mom and all the mothers in this world."  

Neel, who is totally opposite in real to what he gets to play on-screen, made us wonder about his preferences of being a good guy or a bad guy on-screen. When we asked Neel about it, he said, "I am a good guy in real but I have always got the characters opposite to me which becomes very challenging. I am okay with everything but everybody wants to play a hero and now it's being said that the villains are the new heroes of the industry. So, I would be comfortable playing everything which comes on my way."
