As the trend of television actors moving into films continues, our popular television actors join the bandwagon. Chetan Hansraj, Roshni Chopra and Karan Singh Grover
will be seen in the soon to be releasing movie, ‘Bhram’.
The Telly Buzz team caught up with Chetan Hansraj
and Roshni Chopra
to know more.
Giving us an insight on his role Chetan Hansraj
says, “I am playing the role of Dino Morea
’s best friend. It is a
supporting character and has a very important role in the movie. He is
Dino’s closest friend and is always there for him through thick and
thin. Friendship matters a lot to him.” So how does it feel moving from
the small screen to the 70mm screen? “It feels great. I had an amazing
experience working with everyone in the movie. And I know Roshni and
Karan very well as we are from the television industry, so we all had a
good time together.” Chetan adds further, “There is not much difference
in TV and films. The only thing is that in cinema, we need to
concentrate a bit more as we shoot one scene per day, while in
television we shoot couple of scenes together.”
Speaking about her role in the movie, Roshni Chopra
says, “I pay Dino Morea
’s girlfriend. She is a very sweet girl.
Although it is just a cameo role, it is a very interesting role. I did
not have much time to concentrate entirely on the role because of my
hectic schedule.” And how was it like working with Dino Morea
quips Roshni, “Dino is a fabulous actor and an amazing person. It was
great fun working with him. He is very professional when it comes to
his work”. You are also sharing screen space with two television
actors, Chetan and Karan, how was it like? Roshni replies, “It was
great working with them. We know each other from television so we had a
good time together.”
And how does it feel moving on to the silver screen? “There is not much
difference in television and cinema today. The pace at which
entertainment is moving is so fast that both the mediums are almost on
par with each other”, comments Roshni.
We tried to get Karan Singh Grover and Simone Singh, but they were unavailable for comments.
