Chandni Bhagwanani has ruled the hearts of the audiences through her performance in Swastik Pictures' Amita Ka Amit on Sony TV. The pretty and bubbly Chandni Bhagwanani is back again with a new avatar in Channel V's Jhalli Anjali Ke Tootey Dil Ki Amazing Story.

Chandni rose to fame with her much liked Sony TV's show Amita Ka Amit. We caught up with this pretty petite Mumbai girl for an exclusive interview regarding her new show, how is the whole experience from doing a mainstream television show to a youth based show and more...

Here is Chandni speaking about the same -

Talking about the character Chandni says, "Anjali is a very young girl. It is about a girl called Anjali who is truly in love with a guy. But then due to some circumstances the relationship does not work out and she goes through heartbreak. This is when the real journey of Anjali begins from discovering the hidden talent in her which she was unaware of earlier. Post the breakup, the show shows the journey of Anjali of discovering herself and in this journey she finds that she can write well and also gets to know that she has a great inclination towards dancing."

So what's the reason to accept the show? Chandni avers, "Amita Ka Amit had gone off air in just 11 months and I was on a 3 months break. Meanwhile I started auditioning for shows. I did not want to sit at home doing nothing. At that point of time all I thought of was work. That is when Jhalli Anjali happened. I had already signed the contract with the show. Later after signing this contract I came to know that I was shortlisted for a Balaji Telefilms show which will be aired on Colors TV. They had called me to the office to decide the amount. But by that time I had already taken up Jhalli Anjali."

How different is Jhalli Anjali from Amita Ka Amit? "It has totally a different concept. In my earlier show I had women as my audience and with this show I am catering to the youth of the country. I am sure people like the show and the reviews that I have got so far are really good. This week Jhalli Anjali has got 1.2 TRP which is very good for a Channel V show. Had I taken up the Balaji show, undoubtedly the show would be a great success and would run for 3-4 years. By that time I would have turned 24 or 25 and would lose an opportunity to do a youth based show. So I decided to go ahead with Jhalli Anjali. This show is only bi-weekly so I miss shooting for almost 12 hours and for 7 days a week," says Chandni.

Chandni shares a very good bond with her friends from TV. Also her friend Karan Shamra promoted her show through display pictures and various status. So when asked her about the same she says, "Very honestly, it is really good to have such loving friends around. Despite of the fact that they are busy with their respective shows, they make sure that they watch all my episodes on YouTube and give me feedback whether I have done good or bad. Being in this industry, jealousy and competition among people is very natural. And amid this it is very difficult find such genuine friends who are always with us in all situations."

When quizzed Chandni whether would she like to do a reality show or not she says, "Yes definitely I would want to do a reality show based on dance. I love dancing and it will be like a dream come true if I get an opportunity to pursue my hobby of dance along with my passion of acting."

What about Big Boss or Khatron ke Khiladi? "I would not mind doing these either. But I have never been away from my parents, living independently. Even now when I am shooting for Jhalli Anjali in Delhi, I have my mother with me. So yes taking up such shows would definitely be a change in my career and quite challenging too."

All the best Chandni for Jhalli Anjali ke Tootey Dil ki Amazing Story!
