Rashmi is quite elated about keeping her paintings in an international exhibition which is going on in Mumbai. Rashmi has come up with her new collection of paintings which she has featured in this international painting exhibition.
TellyBuzz spoke to Rashmi to know more about her painting exhibition and her future plans with her new collection of paintings on which she is working these days.
Talking about the exhibition, she told us, "It's an international exhibition which is going on in Mumbai at Kala Godha till 30th March. It's a group exhibition and the show is inaugurated by singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya. The theme for this exhibition is Universe and my paintings are abstract paintings on canvas. I have kept two paintings of mine in this exhibition and it's a new style of my work. This time I have done different kinds of paintings that are abstract with more form. I am really delighted to be a part of this exhibition. It's my fourth international exhibition in India. Earlier I have done exhibitions abroad but this time I have kept my paintings in an exhibition which is happening on an international level. We get to see work from all over the world which are done differently."
Being not only a good painter but also a good writer, Rashmi has included her writing in her paintings as well and was highly ecstatic when eminent people came to view her paintings and praised her work, "Big names like Lalita Lajmi, Raza Murad, Kalpana Lajmi, Shyam Benegalji, Alyque Padamsee,Shravanji, Kumar Sanuji, celebrated artiste Akbar Padamsee, Milon Mukherjee etc. had come to see this exhibition and praised my work. It's a learning experience for me. Till now I have kept my paintings in 45 exhibitions happened in India and abroad. I also write English poetry which I feature them in my paintings."
When asked Rashmi about her future plans with this talent of hers, she concluded saying, "In future, I am planning to keep a solo painting exhibition of my paintings which I will announce in couple of months. I am working on new paintings and will be doing it after I will finish them up."
