As the Valentine’s Day fast approaches, production houses are busy shooting special episodes for the D-day. One such Valentine Day episode was shot in Anuj Saxena’s Maverick Productions’ weekly show Gupshup Coffee Shop.

The café has another reason to celebrate this day, as it is the wedding anniversary of Pamilla Dhariwal and Mahendra Dhariwal, played by Sudhir Pandey and Navniit Nishan. The elderly couple creates an amazing chemistry together with the exchange of red roses with love, romance and masti all over. But there is a twist in the tale as there enters an unknown person clad in typical Arab attire.

Debjani Mitra, the Creative Head of the serial states, “The scenes get very funny, as all feel that the daughter-in-law of the house Sandhya, played by Eva Grover is having an affair with this guy. They both take part in the game show organized and even win the ‘Best Couple Award’ which comes as a shocker to the elderly couple. Later, it is revealed that the guy who is in disguise is none other than their son and Sandhya's husband, played by Rajesh Khera.”

Talking about the importance a Coffee Shop holds to the Valentines Day, Debjani Mitra opines, “Most of the coffee shops organize something special for Valentines Day. So we decided to have a fun-filled episode in our serial too and we had a blast.”

Navniit Nishan, who plays the role of Parmila in the serial, had an awesome time doing the romantic scenes. “The episode is one fun-riot wherein the entry of a man in disguise gives rise to the suspicion that their daughter-in-law is having an affair”, says the actress.

Confusion or no confusion, this episode is a must-watch, for ‘Love is in the air’….
