Unlike the ongoing television shows, Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms upcoming daily soap Tera Mera Rishta Purana which will air on Star Plus will have a story with a South - Indian background. Well a South-Indian background sounds interesting, but it seems that it will be a task for the actors too as they will have to learn the new language. It would have had been easy for a south Indian actor who would have been be a part of the show, however looking at the cast of the show it doesn't seem that there is no South Indian actor in the show.
On the same we got in touch with Shruti Bapna who plays one of the important characters in the show. We asked her how difficult was it for her to learn the South Indian accent and she said, "Yes, I will be seen speaking in a South Indian accent in the show Tera Mera Rishta Purana. Well it is not all that difficult as we hardly have to speak the dialogues in the language. But honestly yes, a different background in this show makes the show different too (smiles)."
When asked Shruti about her character in the show she shares, "I will be seen playing the role of the elder sister Vandita, the eldest of all the three sisters. I and Divyanka Tripathy are real sisters and we have a cousin sister too which is played by Mihika Varma."
As we had reported earlier that the shoot for the show had already begun since long time, however it seems that Shruti has not yet started shooting for the show, "Well, I haven't started shooting for the show as in yet. We will resume for the same by tomorrow."
We wish Shruti Bapna all the best for her upcoming show. Hope to see the show on air soon.
