Needless to say, if the show is gearing up for a special episode, it automatically brings in long working hours. Setting out an apt example, is the very talented actor Jay Soni, famous with Colors popular show Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki, who has been shooting persistently for the past 32 hours.
The actor says, "For the forthcoming Maha Sangam episode, I have been shooting at a stretch from last 32 hours and it's still going on. Perhaps, I will pack up tomorrow in morning at 6 am, which totals to more or less 48 hours of work."
Talking about his special sequence, Jay went on to say, "Since my wife Bhoomi (Shamin Mannan) has been kidnapped by Amritlal, I try and do everything possible to get her back. Moreover, I also go violent and indulge myself into a major fighting sequence. This is the first time that the audience will witness Jai Kishan in an aggressive mode."
Furthermore, he added, "The fighting scenes were quite exciting and fun but it completely left me exhausted because it requires a lot of energy and strength. Unfortunately, while fighting during the stunt sequence, I ended up getting hurt by a chair, but I'm still shooting."
How do our actors cope up with the erratic shoot schedules and stress? "Things do take a toll on my health but I don't let it affect me. Acting is not a cakewalk as it entails a lot of dedication and pure hard work, however, I've made myself mentally strong and its my passion and love for my work that keeps me going!"
Well, fame does comes with a price for our television actors, don't you think so?
