The very cute, young and highly talented actress is flying high since she has bought a new house recently.
In conversation with TellBuzz, Giaa confirms, "Yes, I have purchased a brand new two bedroom hall apartment on the 16th floor in Malad East. Earlier I was staying in Mira Road in a one BHK house but my desire to purchase a bigger new home has now come true."
Giaa further goes on telling us details of her new residence, "Since it's a two BHK flat, one of the rooms is for my parents and the other one for me. The home was supposed to be all ready and furnished by now but the LBT strike in between has caused the delay."
"I have hired no interior designer because it's my house, so I'm putting all my efforts to turn it into a beautiful mansion- just the way I want it to be."
When asked Giaa, if she has some designer background, she says, "Not really, but before deciding on anything, I do a lot of research on the internet, discuss it with my mom and then finalise it."
Talking about the special touch she has added to her new home, the pretty lady says, "Each and every corner of this house is decorated by me. From painting to furniture, paint selection, flooring... everything minute thing is taken care of."
When it comes to buying the knick & knacks, Giaa prefers to go to the local shops personally and get the right thing at the right price. Even after going through a 12 hour shift at work, Giaa says, "I am somehow managing time but going out and shopping is a difficult task. As soon as people recognise me in the locality, they surround me and start clicking pictures. Therefore, the only solution to this is, every time I go to a shop, I tie a scarf over my face such that only my eyes can be seen."
Giaa is also very excited to decorate her own room. She says, "My personal room has a attached balcony to it, which is like a cherry on the cake. I've decided to give a dark violet touch to my room because it's my favourite colour. Also, I don't like too much of furniture around, it looks gaudy. So my room is going to simply have a bed, a dressing table, a night lamp near my bed and a small television."
Giaa further goes on saying that a television in her room is a must so that if any day some guests come over her place, and if she doesn't want to connect herself with them, she can stay in her room peacefully and watches television. (Laughs)
"My balcony is the best corner of my home. Especially during monsoon, when I stand alone there, the drops of rains falling on my face feel amazing. I am also planning to beautify my balcony with a small set of chairs and a table. Since I'm very fond of plants, I'm also thinking to bring in some plants, once the painting is done."
Talking about the house warming party, the very excited actress says "Once my home is complete with the whole thing, I'll surely plan out a house warming party for all my friends."
Well, congrats Giaa for the new home!
