I will miss the IBD family: Ragini Khanna

Zee TV's kids reality show India's Best Dramebaaz comes to an end with its grand finale scheduled for 25^th May. The kids showcased various shades of talent on this platform. It has been a great journey for the audience and of course for the IBD family too. 

TellyBuzz spoke to Ragini Khanna who hosted the show along with Rithvik Dhanjani on her journey with India's Best Dramebaaz…

The journey of India's Best Dramebaaz comes to an end so, how has it been?

IBD has been one of my most favorite shows. I have become so enriched with the experience and I will be missing the entire IBD family. It is one of the blessed sets where everybody is there for each other. I am very happy that the show has had a successful run and it was the first of its kind.

What kind of rapport did you share with everyone on the sets?

Everything was just so adorable! The show had the best judges ever and I love Dada (Anurag Basu), Sonali Kulkarni and Vivek Oberoi. They are the most adorable people and it has been super fun being a part of this show.

We have seen you sharing a very good on-screen bonding with co-host Rithvik Dhanjani. What kind of bond you share with Rithvik off-screen?

Surprisingly we never interacted much during Jhalak last year when I was the host and he was one of the contestants but we became friends during IBD. It was fun. I really love irritating him (laughs).

Which performance has touched your heart?

There are many of them which touched my heart. To give you an example, the performances by Aditya and Avni and the performance by Nihar and Honey (the parrot act) touched my heart. Actually, all the performances by the kids touched my heart.

Are you going to do some act for the finale?

Yes, I will be playing a role that I have done never before. I am playing a very mad character kind of a role. It will be the character named Dhasuben Basu who visits the sets of IBD. We all will be performing one-one acts and it has been a great experience while shooting for the act. I had a great fun during the shoot. 

The journey of IBD comes to an end. Any unforgettable memory you would like to share with us?

The whole show has been an unforgettable memory for me. It has been a great journey.

What are you going to miss the most about the show?

Being a part of the industry, I will be meeting Dada, Sonali, Vivek and Rithvik but I won't get to meet the kids. I will miss them a lot. If ever the next season happens, these kids are not going to be there.

What are your future plans?

I will be choosing the best of the offers that I have got. Now, I wish to get to back to acting.
