It's called exaggerating .. He knows how to speak Hindi and speaks it well as proven in DMG LOL And I am pretty sure since he's of Punjabi background and has lived outside of India that's why he pointed out that he isn't the best at Hindi .. jeez there isn't a need to make an issue out of it, he ain't male version of Katrina Kaif or anything 
(I don't hate Kat btw but just saying he knows Hindi and that too well).

can't even speak hindi well... if u can't do that u shudn't be in hindi serials or hindi movies...shame on u mocking ur mother tongue. btw which country are u from??? one thing that really annoys me is that people work in hindi serials but don't like talking in hindi during interviews and feel embarrased if they have to speak in hindi.. superficial...
