The ELLE magazine in their September issue has chosen five beautiful TV actresses to feature in their magazine as the most influential actresses on the small screen. They share with tellybuzz their awesome experience with the photo shoot. They also told us who they think are the most influential actors and actresses on TV, and what makes them proud to be a TV actress. And as we reveal the looks, we hope to hear from our members on which looks they liked the best!
Pooja Gor: "I was ecstatic to do a photo shoot for an internationally acclaimed magazine like ELLE. I always wanted to be in that coveted photo shoot space. The quality of the photo shoot was simply amazing be it the clothes, accessories, background or theme. We got to flaunt red lips, dark eyes and long length dresses which gave us an old Hollywood look. We had foreign stylists and makeup artists who bonded very well with us. I would say that all TV actors and actresses are influential in their own way and are doing great jobs. I am glad that my show Pratigya has got a great response. It has entertained as well as made viewers aware of many social evils prevalent in Indian society."
Krystle D'Souza: It felt superb to have been counted in television's hottest and most influential actresses. And it wa sa complete pleasure to shoot with Elle. They were highly professional! I loved the vintage look, the hair, make up but most of all I loved the dress. The netted black top and the leather finished skirt added drama to the entire look. Also for the first time I wore eight inch heels. I was barely able to walk but once the photoshoot started I felt like I was born to dress this way (laughs). Overall I loved the look and it was an awesome experience!
Narayani Shastri: "I was happy to be a part of the photo shoot for ELLE, which is after all a very reputed magazine and the number one fashion magazine. I flaunt Western wear at parties. However the ELLE shoot gave me not just a Western look but a vintage look. I have never done a vintage look before. I think the most influential actresses on Indian television are Shweta Tiwari and Saakshi Tanwar. The most influential actors are Ram Kapoor and Ronit Roy. I have never put a line between TV and films. TV has given me a position in society. I am proud of being a TV actor."
While Pratyusha Banerjee and Tarana Raja Kapoor were unreachable, we still managed to get their looks to share them with you!
