To add to all the accolades is writer-director MITU's Short film BAWRA MAAN (The heart needs no reason) which has brought fresh laurels to both the director and the actress winning awards & accolades at various national & international festivals. BAWRA MANN, one of the first Short films to be shot on Red format, is based on an urban woman of today's times and the various choices that she has to make in life.
Rohit played by Nishikant Kamat, the director of film Force is a struggling writer living in the life of a middle class person in the suburbs of Mumbai. He wishes to write an erotic pulp fiction novel against his sensibilities. Once he begins the task, the world of his characters opens up in front of him.
Pallavi , the protagonist in the film is exceptionally played by Saakshi Tanwar). Her workaholic husband, Sharad essayed by Sandeep Shrivastava and their monotonous marriage is shown in the film. Vinay (Anand Tiwari); a younger version of Sharad enters the film post which there are conflicts that begin to crop up in Pallivi's mind who sets out to explore her options.
Writer-director MITU, who is known for her creativity in some of the popular television shows like Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii, Kasamh Se, Saath Phere; Sarrkkar, Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli and currently Pavitra Rishta and Bade Ache Lagte Hai.

The film has been screened at a number of Internation Film Festivals like LUCERNE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2011, official selection at the LONDON LIFT-OFF FILM FESTIVAL and the LA FEMME INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2011. It won the award for Excellence in the BEST SHORTS COMPETITION CA 2011. In the Indian context, the film has been selected for the Jaipur International Film Festival, India International Youth Film Festival, Delhi amongst many others.
