Thakur Digvijay Singh of Colors' Bairi Piya and Rani Padmini of Sony TV's Chittod Ki Rani Padmini Ka Johur are two iconic characters in television and they are still remembered for their power packed performances.

What if the Thakur of today and Padmini of history come together?

Yes, you heard it right.

Sharad Kelkar and Tejaswini Lonari will be seen together in an upcoming Marathi movie.

A source informs, "Sharad Kelkar and Tejaswini Lonari will be featuring in the Marathi Movie titled 'Chinu', the story of a village girl who accidentally comes to the city and gets trapped in bad hands. Sharad Kelkar essays the heroic role of a person who rescues her from the problem."

"The first schedule of the film just got completed in Lavasa and the film will be ready by October, "adds source.

We contacted Sharad Kelkar and he commented, "Yes, I will be seen opposite Tejaswini in the movie. It's a great experience and I hope the audience will like the movie."

When asked about coming back on television, he says, "I have many things in hands, so just thinking on the same."

We tried hard to get in touch with Tejaswini, but she remained unavailable for the comments.

    Congrats Sharad, but we fans are still waiting keeping our fingers crossed to see you back with Supriya in BP 2 or a new show. Colors, BT, Ekta please bring back the show as season 2

    Thats gr8 news!! Way to go SK. If only i knew Marathi *sigh* but i hope n pray ur movie does well. Dv definitely was an iconic character which no 1 can deny, so Colors n BT plz bring BP back with Sharad n Supriya as the leads

    Great going Sharad. All the best for the upcoming movie. He is one of the best looking and most talented actors on Indian Television and he deserves to be there at the top. Hope to see you do more regional as well as some good hindi movies in the near future. Way to go.
