With stars being signed on for Nach Baliye (Star One), Sony has also started the ground work for the second season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
One of the stars approached is Aman Yatan Verma. He refuses having signed on the project as yet saying, "They spoke to me 15 days ago but I haven't heard from them since. I was to take part in the first season but couldn't because of some issues. I'd love to do something different but it all depends on many factors- time, money, etc. I'm not sure why rumours are being spread that I've signed the show though, I wish it was true."
He smiles saying he'll have to come up with a wife or a girlfriend to be part of the third season of Nach Baliye. "I can't participate in it without having a partner."
Is Viraasat on a season break? "I really wouldn't know. It's sad that the decision to move it away from its prime time slot on Star Plus to Star One because of Kaun Banega Crorepati turned out to be a disaster. The loyalty to the show faded away after the shift. But the experience of working with Ravi Chopra will always be dear to me."
What's new? "I'm in talks for a few projects..things should be clearer by the month-end. After 10 years of slogging in TV, I'm in that phase of getting used to the fact that I have no busy schedules. It's tough knowing that I'm on a break from work,"
he signs off.
