Mihir Misra left an indelible mark as Dr rahul in the runaway hit series Sanjivani. The image has been difficult to shed. He made a special appearance as Dr Vikram Kapoor last October in the popular afternoon series Kumkum which is celebrating it’s 1000 episodes this month.

The debonair actor is now back again in Kumkum starting his shoot today.

What is the second innings going to be like? ‘ Nothing different from what I did before but I hope this time around my role gets more justice than it did last time’.

The actor is also baffled at the cold shoulder given to him by major production houses. ‘I am not in news now a days because half the producers don’t want to give me work for some vague reason and second I am enjoying my break.’ Well, we think the break is too long.

‘ I have heard that Gurpreet and my Godbrother Mohnish have been approached for Sanjivani second but I have not heard anything from the producers yet. I would love to be a part of the show though’, the actor admits candidly when asked if he has been approached for Sanjivani 2 which is rumored to be coming back.

We too hope that the Sanjivani makers realise that Sanjivani loses half it’s charm without the sauve and intense Dr Rahul.
