A negative character gives you a chance to show variation -Akansha Juneja

Actress Akansha Juneja, who was seen in Bade Acche Lagte Hai, recently made her entry in Sony Pal's Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hain. While she was seen essaying a negative role in her previous show, Akansha will be seen essaying a baddie girl in the current show as well.

In conversation with us, Akansha talks about her association with Balaji Telefilms, playing negative characters and more...

How is your association with Balaji Telfilms and Ekta Kapoor?

I feel, I am working with my family. When I started shooting for Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai I didn't feel different because I am again working with same people, same production house and so, except the cast.

Do you like playing negative characters?

Actually speaking I enjoy playing a negative character because you get a chance as an actor to do various things and bring variation in the character. I want to do something which is strong and where I will get a chance to show my acting skills.

Tell us something about your character in the show...

Well Tanushree's character is not totally negative but is a grey shaded character. Basically she comes from a very rich family and also is a spoiled brat who is obsessed about herself. She is a person who will do anything to get whatever she wants. Similarly she wants Arjun (Navi Bhangu) by hook or by crook and she will marry him in the future.

How is your chemistry with your co-actors?

It's amazing. We all share a great bond with each other. Whenever we are not shooting we all go to hang out and during our break we all sit together and chit chat. We all have great time together on the set.

You have also acted in episodic shows. So which is more difficult daily soaps or episodic show in terms of acting?

I feel that episodic is more difficult because you shoot only for 3-4 days. You have to finish your shoot in that span of time and there you don't get much time to spend with your co actors. But in daily soap its different as you get ample of time to spend with your co-actors and its bit relaxed.

What are your future plans?

Work, work and work (Laugh). I will take up a good project which will come my way.
