Sana Saeed of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai fame, made a come back to Indian entertainment after a long hiatus with Ratna Sinha’s Babul Ka Aangana Chootey Naa where she plays the main lead’s sister - Chhaya.

The hectic television schedules have surely taken a toll on the actress, as along with the show, Sana is focusing on her studies, which are her main priority. Lately as the wedding track took off in the show, Sana had her exams as well, for which Ratna Sinha made sure the actress gets her time off and used a body double for the episodes. The Telly Buzz team spoke to Sana on her hectic double life between work and education…

“It’s very hectic at times for me”, exclaims the actress. When asked about her career plans, Sana states, “Currently I am doing SYBCom and an advertising course at HR college. Studies have always been my priority. I had refused quite a lot of offers post Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, since the shooting dates always clashed with my school or exam timings, and I didn’t want to take any time off and let my education suffer.”

As exam fever hit, Sana too took a break from shoot and decided to work hard on her academics. Sana adds, “I had made it clear to the production house that whenever I have my exams, I’ll be taking time off, and the production house has been very obliging to me, and lately I had my finals, and my team made sure I got ample time to study. They used a duplicate for me in the wedding scenes for the master shots, and would just call me for the close ups, whenever required. I was given a good ten days break for the exams, and now I am back on the show.”

On the current story line Sana states, “I really do not know what’s going on. I just know that my sister is getting married. I’ve been on the sets for just a day now and I am utterly clueless on what’s in store for the future.”

Well, this youngster surely has her head on her shoulders not letting acting interfere with her education!!!
