We wouldn't have been here without the support of the audience: Sargun

Star Plus' popular dance reality show Nach Baliye 5 has reached its final leg and the contestants have given their final performance. The wait for the voting results has begun and the final winner jodi will be revealed on the Grand Finale. TellyBuzz spoke to Sargun Mehta who with baliye Ravi Dubey is a strong contender for the Nach trophy. 

Tell us about the journey right from the making to the finale? Which performance is going to be the most memorable performance for the both of you?

The preparations for the finals had begun since the past 3 and a half months and now it has come to an end. We have given our 200% and looking forward to the results on 23^rd March. We are hoping that it will work for us. Out of all the performances, the Aaja Nachle performance and the water act will be a memorable performance for both of us. Terence Sir gave us a standing ovation for the performance and said, "Your journey from the 1^st act till now has been amazing". It was wonderful for us to hear this from his side.

What was the best compliment you received so far?

The best compliment I have got from the judges is that I was dancing like a girl. Since the very beginning they kept me telling that I dance like a tom boy so that was a huge compliment for me (laughs)."

Ravi supported me a lot throughout the journey, emotionally and otherwise.  I used to get a bit moody sometimes after coming back from the shoot but he handled it all with a lot of patience and I believe we are getting the fruit of that patience today. 

So, when are you making the big announcement? 

We will be making the much awaited announcement by the end of this year or by the beginning of the next year. It would be sometime very soon. 

Votes are also going to be pouring in from your school and college. How does it feel?

It feels amazing. I have not only learned about myself, Ravi,dancing and other things from the stage of Nach Baliye but also about the people who really care about us. We stand at a juncture where we cannot move ahead with the support of people. We now know the people who have actually come forward and supported us by voting and asking their friends and family for the same. I really want to thank all of them.
