SHANKAR MAHADEVAN and PRASOON JOSHI team up to judge NDTV Imagine's musical extravaganza "DHOOM MACHA DE"


It's a musical reality show with real talent and to spice up the dhamaal and masti on the show, versatile singer and ace music director Shankar Mahadevan">Shankar Mahadevan has teamed up with creative whiz, renowned lyricist and script writer Joshi">Prasoon Joshi to judge NDTV Imagine's much awaited musical show, Dhoom Macha De! These eminent jury members votes along with the votes of the entire nation will adjudge the winner in the ultimate competition to uncover the country's "Best LIVE Performer".

Its a tough task for us as judges, but you can be rest assured that this show will have a lot of action and energetic performances from the country's popular artists."

Speaking on the announcement, jury member Joshi">Prasoon Joshi further added, "Dhoom MacJoshi.jpg" align="right" border="0" height="212" width="230">ha De is a unique concept. Never before have talented & established singers participated in a musical reality show. As a judge, I will be looking for the 'wow' factor… something that appeals to the heart and mind. All I can say right now is…watch out for this show… its going to have some unforgettable moments."

Dhoom Macha De is the fresh and exciting new show from NDTV Imagine which will hit TV screens early next year. For the first time ever on television, eleven of India's most popular and established singers like Anaida, Baba Sehgal, Babul Supriyo, Devang Patel, Jaspinder Nirula, Jassi, Kamaal Khan, Richa Sharma, Sapna Awasthi, Suneeta Rao and Taz will come together in one mega show to compete at what they do best- LIVE performance!

    I wonder who the participants are?Shankar is a good judge as he is qualified both as a singer and a music director and why does Ahmed have a doubt.
