It feels great to see that the show has acquired the number one position. It proves that good content always works. Its an interesting co-incidence that the kidnapping sequence of Gopi (Devoleena Bhattacharjee) and Rashi (Rucha Hasabnis) fetched high trps. This time my character was kidnapped and Gopi's pregnancy along with the beginning of her motherhood that worked to fetch good trps.
How do you intend to celebrate new year?
I will be celebrating it with my friends as I have to report to shoot on 2nd. I have to attend one of my friend's wedding later this month so I can't take an off now as I will be taking a leave then.
You are turning a year older on January 1st…
It feels nice as the whole world rejoices and parties on New Year. I have no special plans. I would love to go to seek my mother's blessings but it won't be possible for me as I am in Mumbai and she is in my hometown. I am looking forward to spend my birthday with some of my close friends.
What gifts are you expecting this year?
I gifted myself a black BMW 5 series. I feel good about it as it was on my wishlist for a while now. The no. is 1000. I bought it recently and it's the best birthday gift. I love to drive it by my own. I enjoy going on long drives and it gives me a great high to drive it.
What's your birthday wish?
I want peace and happiness for myself and people who matter to me. I am thankful to my fans for being loyal audiences of my show. I always value the feedback and the love showered by them.
What's your philosophy of life?
I have realized that it is nice to be important but its more important to be nice. Your goodwill takes you places in the long run. Success is transitory. Being humble is necessary in life. Live and let live. Life is beautiful. It is just like an ice-cream and one should have it before it melts.
