According to you why is F.I.R a mega-hit?

I really can't pin point the exact reason. I think our team gels very well together. It is great that we work for 12 hours, have fun and also get paid for it.

Has the character of Chandramukhi grown into you?

I think that Kavita has grown into Chandramukhi. There is more of Kavita in Chandramukhi, than Chandramukhi in Kavita.

What do the people of Haryana have to say on your Haryanvi role of Chandramukhi?

I met the Chief Minister of Haryana, Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda who was very appreciative of F.I.R. I have heard that this show is very popular in North India.

What has been your most memorable moment while essaying this role?

I can't really pick a single one. We have crossed 750 episodes. I have had so many roles while playing Chandramukhi. I have played 700 to 800 get ups of Chandramukhi.

What actors should a good actor of comedy have?

I think comic timing is very important. An actor is as good as its other co-actors. It is very important to have a set of good co-actors.

Any idea how your show will evolve in future?

We have expanded, diversified and are doing magnanimous episodes. We are doing many outdoor shoots. We had ghost episodes and action sequences. Our comedy is going strong.

Which historical character would you like to play?

A historical character that I would like to play is of Jhansi Ki Rani.

How have you matured as an actor while playing Chandramukhi?

It is up to the viewers to say whether or not I have matured as an actor. Maybe I have become more intense, smart in handling the character and more understanding of my
co-actors.

Will you ever play a sobbing heroine?

I will never ever play a teary eyed heroine.
