After having successfully portrayed the role of Ananya in Ek Ladki Anjaani Si, Kanchi Kaul is now all set to don the role of Suhaana in Star Plus' afternoon daily, Bhabhi. Returning to television after a sabbatical of 8-9 months, Kanchi is all geared up & enthusiastic about her second innings. Telly Buzz caught up with Kanchi, amidst all the excitement & zest on facing the camera after a long gap..

How is it to be back to television? "It is awesome, but have more hard work to do now", comes the answer from the enthusiastic Kanchi. What were you doing in this long a break? "Initially, I had taken a break of 2-3 months. Later, I was doing many ads, and today, here I am, back to work."

You just made your entry today in Bhabhi. So what can the audience look forward to now? "Lots of fights, big twists and much more in the coming months", laughs out Kanchi. How is it working with Vishal again? "Yaa, it really feels great. We have always shared great chemistry and our scenes together have always come out well in Ek Ladki, so looking forward to great work together. He is much more senior to me, so I get another opportunity to learn from him".
You seem to have got a new look in the serial. " Yes, I look totally different, never been clad in sarees so far. I wear mostly pastel shades, and netted sarees, not the usual run-on-the-mill type of sarees." So will Suhaana and Dev get back together? " Yes, lots of things to happen, and the scenes have been nicely shot. The way they both get together again, the story track is very interesting and that is what I would say." How is it working with Gurdip? " We have just met, not had a scene together. She looks awesome and beautiful."
