Nagesh Kukunoor, a true blue Kishore Kumar
fan is finding it tough to name his favorite five singers on the show so he decided to name six instead. His vote went to Nayan Kumar Rathod, Milind Ingle, Arnab Chakraborty, Chintan Bakiwala, Shailendra
and Amanat Ali
last week. Who will make it to his top five this week remains to be seen...
The show is getting more interesting as it inches closer to the grand finale. Apart from great songs, there are some great challenges from the judges that the contestants have to take on. This week the contestants have to prove their mettle with two songs and a challenge from Nagesh Kukunoor. He gave the clue and the contestant need to sing the correct song. What followed was truly hilarious.
Apurva opened the innings with his opening song "Ek ajnabi haseena se" followed by "Naach meri bulbul". Amongst all those who enjoyed the song most were two special people in the audience, a Kishore Kumar
look alike and a duplicate Rajesh Khanna
too! Amanat Ali
chose two soulful numbers : "Deewana leke aaya hai" and the evergreen "Zindagi ka safar". Chetan Rana preferred to sing "Yahan wahan saare jahan pe tera" and "Kora kaagaz tha yeh man mera". Arnab sang "Nadiya se dariya" and Yeh public hai.
