On International Woman's Day on the 8th March, we will see SAB TV's daily show Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma presenting an episode that revolves around women. The epsisode aims to address the grave issue of eve teasing faced by the women of today.

The episode is about a female call-center employee who is harassed by young boys and she takes shelter in 'Gokuldham' society. She finds it hard to step out of her house due to constant eve-teasing. When the ladies of the society learn about this fugitive girl and her plight, they get together, find out the whereabouts of all the boys and eventually hand them over to their parents.

On learning about boys' shameful act, parents along with society members hand out a very unique punishment to the errant boys. Instead of shouting or hitting the boys, their parents blacken their own faces in shame. Society members also join them and put black colour on their own faces as a failure of society in instilling good values in the young boys.
