The launch episode will see Rajeev Samant, CEO and Founder of Sula Vineyards mentor Savita Nair, Creative Director Leo Burnett India as she lives her dream job of being a vintner.
Mumbai, December 18, 2012: Confucius once said, "Choose a job you love and you won't have to work a single day." But how many have really been able to live that Dream Job?
Bloomberg TV India, the nation's premier English business channel, is back with Season 3 of its popular and successful reality show THE ASSIGNMENT which revolves around DREAM JOBS.
This season Bloomberg TV India will take one corporate executive every week and give them a chance to live their Dream Job, mentored by an expert from the field. THE ASSIGNMENT captures the corporate hot-shots grapple with the responsibilities of their dream jobs and reflect on the experience of living it.
THE ASSIGNMENT – Season 3, apart from Rajeev Samant, CEO & Founder – Sula Wines features well-known mentors like Alyque Padamsee, Indian Theatre personality and ad film maker; Vikram Bawa, Fashion and Advertising Photographer; Nikhil Chib, Owner and Executive Chef – Busaba; Hormazd Sorabjee, Editor - Autocar India; Junaid Merchant, India's first Canine Behaviourist and Horse breeder to name a few.
Sriram Kilambi, President – Bloomberg TV India, speaking about THE ASSIGNMENT Season 3, said "We believe that a channel has to be innovative in its programming strategy all the time to hold the viewer's attention. This season, instead of assigning a challenge to the participants as in the first two seasons, we asked them to set their own challenge i.e. live their dream job for one day, analyse their own performance and figure out if it is was as 'dreamy' as they imagined it to be."
Starting December 22nd, THE ASSIGNMENT – Season 3 will be telecast every Saturday at 7pm and Monday at 10.30 pm. The first episode features Mr. Rajeev Samant, CEO and Founder of Sula Vineyards as the Mentor and the Assignee is Savita Nair, Creative Director, Leo Burnett India.
Savita spends a day at Sula Vineyards and is assigned three different tasks by Mr. Samant who at the end of each rates her performance and guides her on the finer points of managing a vineyard.
Mr. Rajeev Samant, who gave up a successful corporate career to chase his dream job of being a Vintner, said "It is nice to live your dream successfully and it feels extremely good when you find that it inspires others."
Savita Nair speaking about her experience on the show said, "My dream has been fulfilled on THE ASSIGNMENT. It taught me so much about the challenges and what it would involve to have a vineyard under your control. I loved it and enjoyed the experience."
The Season 3 of THE ASSIGNMENT is presented by Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
