What does fashion mean to you?
It is comfort, basically something in which a person feels confident. At the end of the day you should feel happy.

What is your comfort wear?
Pauses... Denim with T-shirt.

Are you fond of Indian dresses? If yes, when did you wear it the last?
Yes, I love Indian dresses especially Indian saris. I wore one for the Sansui awards, which was around a month back.

Do you like to have a style of your own or you simply follow the trend?
Whenever I go shopping I pick up 10 different things going by the way they suit me. I mix and match most of my clothes to come up with my own style.

Are you fond of Accessories?
Not per say, I try and go in for minimum jewellary. I am most comfortable wearing just a pair of earrings and a watch.

Do you have a tattoo or any piercing?
I don’t have a tattoo, and I don't plan to get one done either. I did have two piercings, one on my ears and the other on my nose, but neither suited me so I closed them.

Any particular brand that you like?
For casuals, I prefer Mango and Zaara any day.

Which is your favorite designer? Indian and International.
Ummm.... Manish Mahlotra has done my clothes and he is good. Ritu Kumar is also great and I must Neeta Lulla is another designer who is fabulous.

Any celebrity whose dressing sense you like off-screen both in Bollywood and television?

What is your favorite screen outfit?
It would have to be a saree. When you wear a saree, it changes the way you look. It not only makes you look good, you feel absolutely stunning too. There is something 'magical' about a saree.

The most expensive outfit you ever purchased? For any particular occasion?
It’s a red classy dress by Karen Millen I got from London. It was atrociously expensive and I paid around 40 grand for it. I did not buy it for any occasion, I was just in London and decided to purchase an expensive outfit.

A must have in your purse?
Mobile, wallet with money, lip balm and kajal pencil

Favorite make up brand?
I am a loyal user of MAC. I have tried other brands and I personally feel that the best for Indian skin is MAC. It has colours that gel well with the Indian skintone.

Preferred shopping destination?
I think London.

Who do you think is the best dress in glamour world in female?
That’s a tough one.... I think it usually depends on the movie... Well I would say Kareena Kapoor in Tashan.

Whom would you like to give makeover?
Tanushree Dutta (laughs a lot).

Any tips for your readers
Drink a lot of water; also wash your face with cold water whenever you get the time.
