TellyBuzz caught up with the actor to speak on What If...this week and the actor opened up his heart about the previous working career he had.
Well, must say he has a similar experience to say like Karan Singh Grover...
What If... with Jaskaran Singh

I was working as an Operation Analyst for 3 Global Services (3G Services) when it was getting introduced in India and I was working in Mumbai itself. After I finished my studies, my father laid down a condition that in order to build my resume I should first work and then do what I wanted because later he did not want me to go back to him empty handed. In that regards my father and Karan's (Karan Singh Grover) father were on the same lines. We were not brought up with silver spoons in our mouth and hence we had to struggle a lot. We are two hard working boys.
It was a tedious job I had there at my workplace because there were days when I had worked for more than 18 to 20 hours a day. Having such an experience, I never felt that I have been shooting for 12 to 14 hours a day for Miley Jab Hum Tum.
It was when I was working in 3G Services that I met my wife where she was working in Facilities Management Department. I had made it clear in the beginning itself that I will be quitting the job and moving into acting and she had a great hand in supporting me during the struggling days. Though I had signed Miley Jab Hum Tum in February, the show went on the floors only in September and there was a huge gap in between wherein I could not commit myself for anything else. She supported me a lot then.
Karan has been helping me a lot in the industry as he had already done shows before me and he used to tell me about what goes around in the industry. We were roommates for a long time and I remember he had accompanied me for my first ever audition. He was there beside me.
Today my friends are really happy for me as initially they had asked me whether I was really going to do a typical daily soap. They are glad that I started with a college based show which was young and refreshing and they also used to watch the show and comment also."
