I agree with the comments of judges...some of them are becoming a real eye-sore....but still the singing for srgmp does enough for me and it rocks!
hahah, even i like visha shekhar the best in srgmp. and indian idol i don't watch it. and voice of india i don't care about it.
so true... I just watch the contestants sing and change the channel when the judges start critiquing the performance!
really loved the analysis... loved the titles given to the judges!

HR is probably the rock bottom with his love for high-drama and low-brains.
Vishal-Shekhar duo are the most sensible and balanced duo....

thanx for the article...isn't it strange how thur r so many guy judges yet thurs only 2 female ones one II3 and VOI..and none on srgmp..liek i dun mind but esp. in indian idol where they go thur shud b a gurl winner i think thur shud also b another femal judge to balance out guys and gurls..
@Anu and @Adi - The point was not why VOI singing was not highlighted - that was perhaps just an example... The point was more on why good things about any of these shows are not usually highlighted..
I totally agree with Author's comments on the judges and their behavior pattern on these shows.. But the point that I was trying to make was something else...
Anyways, this is not the place to debate this, so I will not be saying more...
I always look fwd to read these reviews anyways...
so totally true !! especially about srgmp . the other contestants must have felt really bad when every guru was taking the name of his favourite contestant.. partiallity and favouritism is sooo evident..

Reality Shows
Thank you for your honest candor and for saying exactly what so many of us are thinking. I don't want Indian Idol, however, I do watch SRGMP C2007 and always that the judges were much less self oriented than the ones in ASVOI but lately I feel that the SRGMP judges are going the same route and it really sucks. While VS were the only credible ones til now, like you said, this constant plugging of Mauli who can't sing all types of songs and just generally is no where near as good as they bill her to be, they have really disappointed me as well.
