Regarding Anvesha : She is a great singer, perhaps one of India's best ones now, but this is what happened this time:
1. She chose a wrong song. She was too concerned if she could keep track with the track or not and while trying to be technically perfrect, she forgot the lyrics.
Even Shreya?Pritam mentioned that, didn't they?
I have seen better perfromance from Anvesha before. So keeping that in mind,I do not believe Anvesha's this week was really a great one !
As far as your comments regarding SRGMP, well its your choice...so no comments.
1. Me copying Sonu :Ha ha that was a good one comparing me with Sonu Nigam.Sonu a has a face value, so far all his claims have had a good statistical backing.Aise hi hawa mein baat nahi karta hain woh. Atleast his say and deeds have a footing, important enough to be taken seriously. But my dear, can you substantiate your claims-Seems even this second wild card thing that u posted here also was a mere speculation like the one just like the other one forcasting Sonu's actions had been?
3.Jaya have you had a look at the TRP rating this week? Seems the public across India is actually enjoying the SRGMP show. Well, does that make them all non music lovers ...? ha ha....
2.Regarding objectivity : To become objective one needs to have the perspective right.A National Flag disrespected is a big issue whether it happens in a musical show or in the roadside! A person can be music lover but foremost he/she is a person with sentiments. And to those sentiments disrespecting of the country's flag matters.
Adi - you almost sound like Sonu to me... And you know why ;)
Anwesha failed to deliver? When? 'Zindagi maut na ban jaaye' was a beautiful rendition by her.. She stopped in between just because the musicians had messed up with the tempo of the song initially... Even Areeb and Vyom gave wonderful performances!
Rather - it was on the Lil Champs when none of the renditions could actually arouse any of the patriotic sentiments... Lacked feel- all of them!
Lets stick to this week as it's this week's review. And this week Anwesha failed to deliver leave aside the rest of the CU's. The way they got the hype and the pressure built around them that now they have started cracking and showing inconsistant performances.
@Jaya : IN reply to your previous I would like to say it's better to keep things clear rather than get others read some wrong facts. SRGMP has announced it's finals which is slated after 4-5 weeks. There's no more wild card rounds.
SRGMP makes sure to stick to a format and usually thats a simple one commonly used.
All these things with the fun element is what is making the show getting such high TRP's than all the other reality shows.
I think Jayant's elimination was justified. On that particular day even after Vyom choked up, he still sounded excellent. whereas Jayant performance wasn't upto par. I think it is only fair that Jayant got eliminated.
However i totally agree with the whole Anamika episode. That looked so staged. How come Anamika was the only one to announce this heart attack episode? Didn't the show producers and directors let the other kids know?
Anamika selected a difficult song on the Republic Day special - yes... But then, she sounded quite nasal specially in the higher notes in that rendition of hers.. plus her problems with diction continues... So everything together, I wont regard that performance of her very high...
Anwesha selected one of the most difficult songs as well, and though the musicians messed up initially with the tempo and she had to pause, what she rendered after that was flawless...
Infact there is no point even comparing Anwesha with others as she is perhaps the best talent we have seen in years in any of these reality shows!
