Here comes an acknowledgment speech from Tellybuzz to all our dear viewers:
Thank you so much for the tremendous response that you have bestowed on our First Part of the Series - 'Yeh Dil Maange More', and we do hope that all your favorite shows are part of our Countdown!! At the same time we would also like to inform you that this is a countdown , hence we request you to wait for the coming weeks to see the Number One show in the demand list of people.
Well, the formal part of it is done and its Sunday, so aapki intezaar ki ghadi ab khatam ho gayi.
A story, I feel, which has never been told in the Indian television Industry and about a relation that daily soaps have taken granted for, Marriage. 'Rishta.com' plots about a matrimonial agency, named same as the show, which obviously makes the purest relation on earth work out for people, or better put it this way. They try to make all the marriages last happily ever after. The company is owned in partnership by Isha Mirchandani and Rohan Mehra, who by nature are like the opposite poles of the earth. Shruti Seth and the new heart-throb of television, Kavi Shastri did live the role to the fullest!! Where Isha believes marriages are made in heaven and has to be experienced by all, Rohan just wishes those two souls a good luck. In the process of connecting people in the bond of marriage, these two opposite poles really get attracted to each other and end up together.
The show was hilariously made by YRF again, which entertained the audience to the core. The witty dialogues, which I would rather say casual conversations which are not dramatic or heavy for the ears like in daily soaps and pleasant office atmosphere were all a great relief and eye candy, especially after the 'rona-dhona' shows in other channels. Yash Raj Productions gave us another show that allowed us to sit back and relax and laugh on a concept and process that is considered very sacred and for lifetime. They gave us a couple that really proved that opposites attract. Isha Mirchandani (Shruti Seth) and Rohan Mehra (Kavi Shastri) portrayed the contemporary youth that people could easily connect with themselves.
The show ended in a sweet manner where Isha and Rohan come together, but people expected the show to go further where their differences brought them back. People would love the show to be back on air to see the informal talk in the office, the witty replies and the never seen matchmaking process. Well, I too would love to have the show back with a sequel where they show how the two love birds finally arrange their wedding after they had had the experience of making it for the others.
After Mahi Way, this is the second YRF show that finds place in our Countdown list, and we sincerely hope Sony and Yash Raj bring both the babies back...
The show portrayed the love story of a Brahmin boy, Abeer and a Kayasth girl, Leher who fall in love blanking out the complications attached to it. The girl is shown least interested in the boy in the beginning which later on turns out to be love.
The show portrayed the cliched concept of family, bounded on the basis of caste and traditions and the love story attached to it. Even though the concept had been ripped off several times, there were new inputs related to the show. The cast of the show was good and the performances, refined. The pairing of Gaurav Khanna and Yami Gautam was well appreciated and people still want them back.
People demand a comeback of this Creative Eye show and it does deserve to be, with a concept that is fresh with the lead pair in it. The romance was underplayed post wedding and was more concentrated on the rivalry and revenge. The show can definitely make with the same couple just like Kitani Mohabbat Hain says 'Wahi Jodi, Nayi Kahaani'. Even though the ratings did allude this show the last time, the channel and production house can surely take a second chance at bringing the cast back in an altogether freshly woven story line, with more of romance so that the story makes utmost justice to the title 'Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam'...
Hoping that the channel and production house hear us...
It is very depressing to say that our dear viewers will have to wait another long week to see the shows that are listed at number 6 and 5. But at the same time do not forget what our dear old forefathers have said 'Intezaar Ka Phal Meetha Hota Hain'.
So till then, keep commenting and suggesting on your favourite shows at this space in Tellybuzz.
Have a great Sunday!!!
