We can see television shows evolving overtime. With the changing standard of script writing, screenplay and even the concepts, one major change that we saw in shows was the introduction of title tracks in the shows.
With title tracks in place, the makers have now gone one step ahead and introduced songs to amp up the viewing experience of the shows. The makers revamp famous tracks and use them in the show and guess what, the mantra seems to be working as the audience too loves the experience as a whole.
Listed below are a few such Bollywood numbers, that have been revamped and used in shows.
Lag Jaa Gale - Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai
Lata Mangeshkar's rendition of Lag Ja Gale from Wo Kaun Thi, is unmatchable. And over the time, we have heard many versions of the song and have heard many singers (male and female) recreate the song. And the makers of Star Plus' Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai chose to incorporate a revamped version of the song in their supernatural thriller and guess what, it fit the plot perfectly well.

Sony TV's psychological thriller Beyhadh has been keeping the audience on their toes with the constant twists and turns and not to mention, the leaps. When the show took its first ever leap and the makers showcased Maya and Arjun's broken and forceful (from Arjun's side) marriage, they hyped the leap promo with the revamped version of Alka Yagnik's Tujhe Pyaar Karte Karte from Naajayaz.

When the lead couple Dev and Sonakshi separated and a 7-year leap took place, both of them changed drastically as individuals. And what better song then Waqt Ne Kiya Kya Haseen Sitam... Tum Rahe Na Tum Hum Rahe Na Hum, to describe the hate story between the couple? The original song was sung by Geeta Dutt in the film Kaagaz Ke Phool.

This is one of Zee TV's out of the box projects. The promos of Piya Albela termed the love story between Pooja and Naren as the today's Vishwamitra and Menaka's love story. In a few sequences of the show, the makers revamped Asha Bhosle's Aao Huzoor Tumko from Kismat and incorporated the song.
