Summer is here and the rise in mercury has made everyone start feeling the heat. Our TV celebs too are not spared and they follow some tips to take care of their skin and health during summers. TellyBuzz speaks to your favorite celeb to know more about their summer choice and the tips they follow to stay cool during summers.
Today we got in touch with the pretty actress Farnaz Shetty who currently essays the character of Gunjan in Beyond Dreams' popular show Veera on Star Plus. Here is Farnaz sharing about her likes and dislikes about summers along with giving tips to her fans.
Do you like anything about summers?
Skin becomes good after sweating though sweating is irritating. I feel that skin becomes softer as compared to winters. It's difficult to maintain your skin in winters but it's easy in summers. In summers, we prefer drinking juices more which is good for health.
Summers are meant for... Mangoes.
The perfect summer wear for me is... T-shirts and shorts with a cap and if I am out then I wear sunglasses.
Shooting during summer is... Much more tiring especially when not shooting in AC then it becomes really difficult for us to shoot and at times it becomes really very annoying.
Things I carry along during summer... I prefer carrying fruits and juices along with me. My liquid intake becomes more in summer.
My favorite summer drink is... Coconut water.
My travel destination during summer is... I would like to go to some snowy place.
My beauty regime during summer is... I apply a good sun screen before stepping out in the sun. I always carry my sunglasses. I avoid exposing my skin to direct sunlight. I mostly wear full sleeves. I avoid wearing black and I prefer wearing white which makes me feel fresh when I am out.
My diet during summer is... I prefer eating something very light. I prefer eating chapattis, vegetables, salads and fruits. Everybody should drink two glasses of coconut water during summers which is really healthy and keeps your skin hydrated. I love eating rice but I avoid it because of the fattening and I hardly get time to go to the gym but when I really feel like having, then I have Biryani.
My fitness regime during summer is... I really feel like exercising which is very boring.
One summer tip... Apply a good sun screen every day before stepping out. Wear sunglasses and your caps. Try wearing full sleeves and white colored clothes and drink coconut water every day which is good for health.
