Talented and pretty actress Nikita Sharma, who was last seen as Antara in Life OK's popular show Do Dil Ek Jaan, is a fitness freak. Nikita exercises and drinks plenty of juices to stay fit and also takes care of her diet. We quizzed Nikita to know more about her fitness mantra.

What does fitness mean to you?
It means a lot to me. I think being fit means keeping oneself happy and alive. Everybody should go for a walk for at least 20-25 minutes a day and if it's not possible for you to go for a walk or workout then you should eat healthy and stay happy to keep yourself fit.
What efforts do you take to stay in shape?
I am a foodie and I don't eat food for my appetite; I eat food for taste. I have to work out daily and keep a control on my diet. I take proteins and minerals which help me to look good and beautiful. I eat lots of fruits and drink juices.
Are you conscious about your food choices?
Basically, I am not but being an actor it's necessary to stay fit as people follow your fashion and everything and it's not only about looking good on-screen but it should beneficial for us too. So, I have to calculate my diet and be conscious about my food choices.

Do you believe in a size zero figure?
Not at all! I am a Punjabi and I love food and believe in eating everything. Now, summers are coming and I love to drink Jaljeera, Lassi and juices. It's good to drink plenty of water during summers; it's very good for health. One should also drink green tea to remain in shape. I keep on following such small fitness tips.
