I would love to have my name as a photographer: Ssumier S Pasricha

Ssumier S Pasricha, who portrays the character of Shailendra in Colors' Sasural Simar Ka, has another passion apart from acting and that is Photography! The actor loves to capture people's images and other stuff in his camera whenever he gets free time from his acting schedule. Ssumeir loves to click especially on fashion and travel related themes. TellyBuzz spoke to Ssumeir to know more about his love for photography.

How did your love for photography begin?

My love for photography began when I was in Australia and I used to have a simple Digital camera. My actual journey with photography began when I got my professional camera. People used to like the pictures clicked by me so I started clicking fashion and travel related pictures and started selling those pictures to some International magazines. When I came to Mumbai it grew even more because then I had no other work to do other than photography.

What kind of pictures do you like to click the most?

I like to click fashion and travel related pictures. Recently, a newspaper covered my Monsoon clicks. Also, I have clicked couple of pictures of producers like Yash Patnaik and JD Majethia and of the actors like Manish Raisinghani, Jayati Bhatia, Avika Gor, few other actors and models too. I keep getting offers so I keep clicking pictures.  

What kind of compliments do you get?

They really love my work and my editing. In fact some of the actors, whose pictures have been clicked by me, have been placed in the industry. Not only because of my photography but it has happened that some pictures enhanced their personality and I gave them what they wanted.

How often you give time to click pictures apart from your acting schedule?

I try my level best to give at least 10 days in a month to enhance my photography skills and I dedicate it to click travel related pictures.

Any kind of training you have got for Photography?

No, not at all! I am self-trained with this. I have got all the training watching YouTube videos and reading stuff related to photography on the internet and magazines because the more you do, the better you will go with it.

What are the editing software's you use for editing your clicks?

Yes, I would love to get the in-depth knowledge of photography and the editing in future.
