Akshaya Tritiya is considered to be one such pivotal occasion, whereby any meaningful activity started on this day is said to be productive and successful. It is also considered a fortunate time to start a new venture or invest in buying gold or property.

Shashank Vyas: Shashank Vyas, famously known as Jagya in Color's Balika Vadhu talks about his perception on Akshaya Tritiya. The actor says, "Well, Akshaya Tritiya is considered to be an ideal time to purchase gold or other valuable stuffs. In fact, my family follows the tradition to buy some silver and gold coins on such auspicious days. But according to me, if I own crores of rupees and wish to purchase a property, I'll immediately go with that investment. I won't wait for days like Akshaya Tritiya or Dhanteras to do that. I think such festivals now somehow belong to the dealers and shopkeepers as they trigger the urge to invest in valuables and consequently increase their sale of products. So at the end of the day, it's all about me, if I want something I'll buy it, if not, I won't."Siddharth Arora: The very charming Siddharth Arora, a.k.a Beera of Colors' Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha says, "My birthday is on April 13, and this year Akshaya Tritiya falls on the 13^th too. Actually unlike many, I believe '13' is a very lucky number for me. When it comes to Akshaya Tritiya, I didn't know about its significance and its role in our lives until I came to Mumbai. Yes, it is believed to be a holy day for Hindus and whatever one invests in on this day will continue to grow, appreciate and prosper." When asked him about his plans for today, Siddharth says, "Well, I'll be busy the entire day in my shoot. But if anytime in future I plan to buy a new house or conduct a house warming ceremony, I would surely plan it for this lucky day."Nia Sharma: Known as Manvi in Ek hazaaron mein meri behna hain, Nia Sharma shares her thoughts about Akshaya Tritiya. Nia says, "All I know is people generally invest in some jewellery on this day, which is pretty good an excuse for shopping (laughs). Last year I bought a diamond ring, and this year as well I'm planning to buy something for myself. When asked if Nia has been following this festival religiously, she comments, "No No, it's only when last year a television news channel insisted me to go with them for jewellery shopping on this occasion, that I came to know about this festival. So, I'm looking forward to continue the custom ahead."                      
Muskaan Mihani: Muskaan Mihani who is seen hosting the show Safar Filmy Comedy Ka on SAB TV, says, "My family considers Akshaya Tritiya as a prosperous day. We believe that it brings in good fortune and success. On this day, we'll first have our house cleaned and perform a small pooja so as to offer our prayers to God. I usually dedicate this day to buy property or signing a new contract."

Shrenu Parikh: Shrenu Parikh who was last seen in Byaah Humari Bahu Ka, talks about her plans on this Akshaya Tritiya. The actress says, "Akshaya Tritiya is an occasion when I always get something made from gold from my mother! Later, I found out it has an auspicious importance. It is considered as a day when new ventures are likely to start so that you succeed in them. Personally, I consider it as a golden day for success. Like every year, this year too, I'm going to get some gift from my mom. Never-the-less, on this Akshaya Tritiya, I'm also planning to buy something in white gold, probably a ring."
