Lets have a look on what they said...
Dheeraj Dhoopar: As a citizen of my country I am not very happy with the heavy taxes. Thankfully, I don't belong to the section of the society who is most affected by the strikes, my life is unchanged during the strikes. Although I wish there was an alternative way to resolve these issues other than strike as a lot of business suffers loss due to the strike.
Gautam Rode: Strike is not the solution but levying so much taxes is also not the right thing. Hope we find a middle path to deal with this problem. As I am shooting non-stop I haven't faced any inconvenience so far.
Rithvik Dhanjani: Undoubtedly the taxes are being raised enormously on citizens which in return are making daily living even more difficult for everybody. But I don't think that strikes are the only way to solve the issue as strikes in another way are adding burden to a man's living. I think our government should take an initiative keeping public interests and benefits in mind and also show in their actions that if these taxes are being charged then they are in turn being used for the public welfare and not just for filling unnecessary pockets.
Adaa Khan: I don't support these taxes at all as I don't understand that where does the tax money go as neither the Mumbai infrastructure or anything else seems to get better. But I don't think that strikes can help solve such issues. Strikes affect people in day to day life too, hence a proper solution should be sought which harms no one and benefits everyone.
Kajal Pisal: I don't support these taxes in country which are being used nowhere but only to fill unnecessary pockets. Strike is certainly not the only way to resolve this problem as every common man suffers because of the act. So far I haven't faced any inconvenience but will face in a day or two if the strike continues as we all depend on these shops for our basic necessities.
Jayati Bhatia: I just wish that we knew where the tax payers money is going, so that at least we would not feel as if we are cheated. Every individual is eager to know where the amount of money he pays as tax is going? Nothing is up to the mark and everything is going down the drain. Strikes cause inconvenience but then how do people make their voices heard? Till the government doesn't get hit by the economy and the business they won't wake up and when then they do they will levy some more taxes. Hence we just end up going round and round in circles.
Deepak Sandhu: I only support Income tax as in I file an ITR today I will get the money back. The taxes that the government imposes on us is something which we don't know as to where the money is being used. I find that strike is not the only solution because why should we take any step? The government should think about us. Going on strike harms our business in return.
