When you think of winter, the scene you instantly conjure up is of a snowy landscape, a cosy fireplace, warm woollen mittens and mugs of hot chocolate. Mumbai, the city where shooting for TV shows happen, however has a maritime climate with very mild winters. Nevertheless TV actors are making the best of Mumbai winters as it's after all a very pleasant season especially for outdoor shooting.
Winters are not too chilly in Mumbai, therefore it is very pleasant to shoot outdoors. In summer and monsoon it's difficult to step outdoors in the city. I am going for a winter vacation this year, most probably to Istanbul.
I love dressing up in this beautiful season. As winters in Mumbai are however not too cold, we can't unfortunately dress up the way people of Paris and Delhi do during winters. Nevertheless it's slightly chilly now in Mumbai so I love to wear jackets, scarves and nice leggings with boots.
My skin gets very dry in winter, it is otherwise oily. I wash my skin regularly and moisturize it too. In winter after all your body craves for fats and carbohydrates, nevertheless I try to eat calorie free food. I enjoy a cup of hot tea and coffee during winters and I also like to sip on red wine.
I love the weather in Mumbai winters as it's just too hot to shoot outdoors in summer. I have kept most of the winter clothes in my wardrobe in my hometown in New Delhi. Nevertheless I have some jackets, good mufflers and gloves which I use especially when I go home.
I love Delhi winters. The mornings are foggy and you just can't see the sun. It's great to sit in the lawn in the tender winter sunlight. At night it's fun sipping hot coffee by the winter bonfire. I love having my mom's hot pakodas in this weather too.
I use a lip balm during winter to prevent my lips from tearing off. Just in case my body gets too dry I use some body butter.
We unfortunately can't go for a winter vacation this year. My wife Nisha and I are preparing for Nach Baliye; so both of us just don't have the time. We even haven't had our honeymoon as yet- maybe we could plan a winter honeymoon next year.
It's very pleasant to shoot in Mumbai in winter as it isn't cold. I wear pullovers, jackets and boots in the winter season. However I also like to wear shorts. I just love the mild winter sun.
You just can't let your skin dry in the season, so you need to moisturize your skin in winter. I wash my face thoroughly with warm water. I regularly wash my hair and oil it before a wash.
I will be going on a year ending winter vacation this year with family and friends. The venue is still undecided.
I am not a winter person at all. All I feel like doing in winters is staying warmed up in the quilt all day. Having said this, luckily I am shooting in the Mumbai where the winters are very pleasant hence shooting is not that tough. What I love the most about winter is that the nights are long. Though I badly need a vacation I just don't have the time for one. So I will be enjoying winter locally in Mumbai.
I have a collection of trench coats which I love wearing. I hardly get to wear them here but whenever I travel out of Mumbai in winter you will generally find me wearing trench coat, jeans, boots and will have my head covered in a muffler.
I cleanse my face after pack up from my shoot with a medicated cleansing lotion followed by a fresh milk cream as my skin tends to dry in winters. Once a week I compulsorily oil my hair and pamper it with a herbal pack.
I am not a foodie so I do not have any specific choice in winters. It totally depends on my mood.
Shooting in Mumbai winters will be pleasant for anyone. Mumbai winters make the environment cooler and calmer. There are however no harsh winters in the city, therefore I have no winter wardrobe. Nor do I have a different beauty care regime in Mumbai. I wash my hair and skin before bedtime all year round, that is it. I love having hot chocolate and coffee in winters.
I like snowy winters. However you don't get that in Mumbai. I am going out of the country for a winter vacation. However I don't know exactly where as of now.
It is nicer to shoot in Mumbai in winters as it's otherwise very humid all year round. Mumbai has almost the same climate all year round. Maybe we may need a scarf or shawl in the end of December. I have bad skin, I have to drink a lot of water to keep it hydrated. I have oily skin, I do wash my skin regularly but I don't use much chemicals. I am not a morning and night skin person at all, however I do use a sun screen.
I always like a hot cup of tea in winter. However I enjoy eating something chilly too in winter. In fact I have had ice cream in chilly Delhi winters too.
I love snowy places in winter. I will spend this year end with my parents in Madhya Pradesh. The winter is quite chilly in Madhya Pradesh, so I am quite looking forward to it.
I love shooting in winter. My winter wardrobe is full of brightly coloured pashmina shawls, sweaters, overcoats and blazers. I don't have any special skin and hair care regime during winters as my skin is the best during this season. Otherwise, I have to take care of my skin all year round. I love to have makki ka roti and sarso ka saag during winter. If time permits then I would love to go for a year ending winter vacation.
I don't like shooting in winter as I am fond of sunny weather and bright blue skies. I simply don't like cloudy days. I like to wear mufflers, jackets and monkey caps in winter. I ensure that my skin is moisturized in winter, so I drink a lot of water and apply skin cream too. I also oil my hair.
I love to have honey in winter as it protects the throat. I relish hot coffee, soups, pizzas and pastas in this beautiful season. I am not going out of Mumbai this winter as I will be attending my cousin brother's wedding.
I am more of a winter person than a summer guy. In fact three years ago when Europe was having it's coldest winter; I went to France and Germany and even climbed Mt.Blanc.
In winter I like to wear sweatshirts and jackets. Some people crave for oily food and butter. I however stick to my basic diet and eat healthy.
I don't think I'll be able to go for a winter vacation this year as I am very busy shooting. The current tracks of Balika Vadhu are involving me which is why I just can't afford to take a break.
I shoot indoors in winter; therefore shooting in winter doesn't make much of a difference to me. I love to wear colourful jackets, woollen clothes, and polo necked T-shirts in this weather. However as I am in my show costume most of the time I really don't get much time to wear the kind of winter wear I like.
My winter skin care regime isn't really different. I have the same skin care regime all year round- that is cleansing and moisturizing with a very good cream. My favourite brand is Bath and Body Works.
I like to have hot tea and pakodas in this weather. My mom makes delicious pakodas. I also enjoy snuggling up in warm blankets in winter.
