Tellybuzz brings to
you 'Spooky and Uncanny' column with your favorite telly stars which tries to
find out their beliefs in supernatural powers and their brush with uncanny!
This week we got in touch with Siddharth Arora who is best known for playing
the character of Vaibhav in Colors' Mukti Bandhan.
Let's find out what Siddharth has to share with us.
Do you believe in the supernatural?
I generally don't believe in supernatural powers but I believe in the almighty. I don't believe in making God happy by keeping fasts but according to me, the best way to make God happy is by doing good to others and helping people.
Craziest horror story ever heard by you?
Once a cousin brother of mine was possessed by spiritual powers. He was just 15-16 yrs. old that time. There used to be a banyan tree and once he went there and got trapped with some powers. After that he started to speak like a 30 year old man and he started speaking languages like Urdu, Bengali, etc. Then my family members called a tantric after which he was fine . After that incident, I am still scared of going near to a Banyan tree.
Have you ever had a brush with uncanny?
Not yet. I will pray to God that I don't get a chance to experience it in my life. I feel in today's world humans have turned out to be ghosts. We are surrounded by lots of human like ghosts (laughs).
When have you been the most scared?
It was the time when I went to Delhi for my graduation. It was my first day there and I had to stay with my brothers and his friends who all used to work in night shifts at call centers. It was the first time in my life, when I had to stay and sleep alone in night. I was scared. Then I planned to go for a movie. I watched a movie at a PVR nearby and returned home at around 3. Then I read Hanuman Chalisa for the rest of the night. I could sleep only after my roommates started coming back after their work in the morning (laughs).
Favorite horror movie?
I don't like to watch horror movies as it makes me scared. I used to watch Zee horror show and after watching that, I haven't seen any horror movies.
Horror dare?
I haven't and won't
try to dare it.
