Christmas Christmas Time is Here; Time for Joy and Time for Cheer…..
it is Christmas today and how can we forget that it is the day when we
all await to receive gifts with the delicious treat of plum-cakes and
rum-cakes. The wish list we put in the sock and wait for; the trees we
decorate with stars and snow. Ooohhh… it's all exciting and fun at
But do you remember the same days at school? When
teachers used to dress up as Santa and gift us chocolates and toys? The
n-number of parties to which we've gate crashed?
We asked some of
our popular television actors about their Christmas memories at school
and also about their plans for this year. Some also shared their wish
list for this Christmas...
Have a fun read…
If there is one person who does not really get excited about festivals
existing, it would be me. Actually we celebrate Diwali more than
Christmas and I also do not have a wish-list . I don't have many plans
for this Christmas and I would be working throughout the day to
compensate for New Year. One thing I like about the festival is that
kids really look forward to it and they really get excited about gifts.

I was never so fascinated about
Christmas at school because I never got any gifts. As kids, we used to
hang socks believing that Santa would fill it with presents. But my
parents never encouraged that because they did not want us to be fooled
(laughs). This year Christmas will be a beautiful day but just another
day. This year I am really looking forward for the response to my new
show on Life OK.
It's party that comes to mind when I think of Christmas days
at school as that was the time when we used to get to drink Rasna
(laughs). AkbarAlly's was another hit point during the festival as there
used to be a Santa sitting outside. I had always wondered how he comes
to know about what I wanted as a present. I was so crazy about action
figures those days and I got exactly the same thing from the Santa
there. Later I realized that dad used to register my name and he used to
buy the gifts and give it to Santa to gift me.
My wish list is not really big because I just need an island all by myself and a jet plane.
exciting thing about Christmas during school days is that we used to
exchange gifts devoid of what sections and classes we were in. Juniors
and seniors used to just have fun where a teacher used to dress up as a
Santa and give gifts. I have two Santas in life and they are my mom and
dad and they keep giving me gifts every now and then. Christmas for me
is full of joy.
Christmas used to be holidays for us, so it's all just party
and friends. This year I am planning to go for the Mass at Church as I
have never been to one. I do not have a big wish list, but it would be
great if someone gifts me an SUV and, if it's an Audi Q7, it would be an
icing on the cake (laughs). Christmas for me is gifts, the yummy rum
cakes and kids. And for me my all time Santa is my dad as he is there
24X7 to gift, be it for any festival.
In the north. our school used to
shut for Holidays by the time of Christmas because winter would be at
its peak. So the festival has always been parties and friends outside
school. This year I guess I will be working as Avinash and I are
planning for an outing with our friends who are coming down to Mumbai
for New Year's eve. Christmas for me is a merry time and I do not want
to disclose my wish list now (laughs). Earlier my dad used to be my
Santa and today I also have Avinash.
Well, while the stars
are having their bit of celebration, we also take your leave to have our
time. TellyBuzz on behalf of the entire Tellydom wishes all its readers
and members a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS.
