Ashish Roy who played underworld Don, Anna, in SAB TV's Mrs. & Mr. Sharma Allahabad wale will be seen in a prominent role in Zee TV's upcoming show Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuyein.

Confirming his presence in the show, Ashish Roy says Telly Buzz "My character name is Sirji and I play the role of a director of a  theatre group wherein the female lead, Lovely plays the lead actress. I am a strict task master on the surface, but have a softer side, which unfolds as the story progresses."

After playing a comic role in the previous show, Ashish adds why he took up the show " I take the roles which interests me and when Rashmi Sharma Telefilms offered me the theatre director's role, I couldn't resist. My own acting background stems from theatre, so its home territory for me."
