Anurag (Harshad Chopra) and Taani (Aunpriya Kapoor) have a real testing phase coming in Star Plus' Tere Liye. The Balaji Telefilms show wraps up with a Maha Episode on April 2nd, i.e this Saturday.

Our source states, "The story of Tere Liye was not a simple one that could be ended very easily. The show started with Anurag being in the mental asylum, and we had to reach that very point if a culmination to the story had to be given. Few major tracks had been planned for the coming months, but unfortunately that was not the case.  When the decision was taken by the channel to terminate the show, the creative team had to intensify the story so that the high point is reached. The team has tried its level best to give a justifiable end".

The coming episodes will see few quick twists. All will start when Taani decides to bring some happiness in the Ganguly household by taking Anurag out with Ritesh's daughter to a Mela. Jonaki who is already upset with Taani wants to create a mess and kidnaps Ritesh's daughter from the mela. Her intention is to make the whole family search for the girl and then get the girl back, so that Taani falls low in the eyes of all. While the whole family is going berserk searching for the kid, Jonaki comes there with the kid. However, an unfortunate stampede happens in the mela in which the little girl gets trapped and she breathes her last. This comes as yet another shock to the family. Taani gets into a state of shock and refuses to cry and react to anyone. Ritesh who is hurt with the death of his kid sees this as a ploy by Anurag and lodges a complaint against him. Meanwhile, Jonaki has a change of character and accepts Robbie's (Rajat Tokas) child whole heartedly. Taani does not react to any medical treatment; Anurag who has lost everything in life decides to take Taani and go back to USA. Taani refuses to come with him, and an annoyed Onu decides to leave the country alone.

At this point of time, Taani gets to know that she is pregnant. She calls Anurag who has reached the airport, asks him to meet her for one last time at the Jharna (their usual meeting point). Ritesh (Nikhil Arya) who overhears this conversation does not want to see Taani happy. He follows her to the place with a plan to push her off the cliff. However, in the tussle that ensues, Anurag falls off the cliff and oses his mental stability.

Years pass by, and Taani struggles hard to become the bread winner for the Ganguly family. She is a popular singer, has given birth to Onu's child, takes care of his parents, Jonaki and the kids. Ritesh becomes the sole owner of the entire Ganguly property. This is where the flashback story ends and the story comes to the present wherein Anurag is in the mental asylum.

Taani decides to give one last try to make Anurag better, but all plans fail. A distraught Taani goes back home, only to realize that Anurag is not mad and he is in fact pretending to be one.

Why has Onu faked this? How will Tani react when she gets to know the fact? Will their love story get a happy ending?

Lots to look forward to in this final week of major drama in Tere Liye…
