Yash Patnaik and Swapna Waghmare Joshi's Rang Badalti Odhani on Star One will see its next big twist with the entry of a new character Sunny, who will be the look-alike of Sooraj (Harpreet Singh), who was Khanak's (Yashashri Masrukar) first husband.

This track has been brought in as Karan Tacker aka Shantanu is absent from the shooting scenario due to malaria. We hear that Karan is recuperating and is expected to resume shoot from this Friday.

In the meantime, viewers will see an interesting track with the entry of Sooraj's look-alike.

Our source states, "Harpreet Singh will now be seen essaying the role of a struggling actor, and his screen name will be Sunny. He will get into the picture when Sam (Priyanka Bassi) will introduce him to her friends as her boy friend. Sunny is basically a struggling actor and Sam has brought him as her fake boy friend, only to make Rahul (Manish Raisinghania) jealous. In this way, Sunny will meet Khanak too and this is when she gets a shock of her life to see her first husband's look-alike. Though Khanak understands that this is not Sooraj, she will feel uncomfortable in his presence".

While this track will take off from day after tomorrow, Shantanu's comeback is expected to happen sometime next week.

When contacted, Harpreet Singh confirmed the news to TellyBuzz, "Yes, I am excited to be back in Odhani. I play Sooraj's look-alike and this character will have a completely different look. I am presently in Jalandhar and will get back to Mumbai today".

Producer Swapna Waghmare Joshi too confirmed saying, "Yes, Harpreet is back as Sooraj's look-alike. We are shooting with him tomorrow. Karan is very weak as of now, and we are waiting for his blood reports to come. Let's see how this track works out".
