V.G. Productions' upcoming show on COLORS, Vidhwa has got its main leads in Samreen Zaidi and Anurag Nigam. It was earlier reported that Pooja Bose was to play the protagonist in the show, but now the role has gone to Samreen Zaidi who was last seen in Sahara One's Mr. and Mrs. Mishra. Anurag Nigam was last seen in Imagine's Sarvagunn Sampanna.

The story is about widow remarriage. Rookie actor Jeet Patel plays the husband of the lead girl who unfortunately dies few days of marriage, leaving behind his young widow who needs to fight her battle with the society. Anurag Nigam plays the younger brother of the husband who steps in to stand as a pillar for his Bhabhi.

Veteran actors Vikram Gokhale, Pankaj Dheer, Gajendra Chauhan, Utkarsha Naik play vital roles in the show. Amar Upadhyay, Shraddha Jaiswal of Ranbir Rano fame and Tripti Shukla will also be seen in the show.

When contacted, Samreen Zaidi confirmed the news saying, "Yes, I have been finalized to play the lead in Vidhwa. But I have not yet signed the contract".

We tried calling Anurag Nigam but he remained unavailable for comments.

When contacted, Producer V. Kumar said, "Samreen Zaidi and Anurag Nigam are in Vidhwa".

The production house plans to start shoot for the show very soon..
