Ek Chutki Aasman will be ending on December 16th. Taking its place at the 8.30 PM slot is Edit II's Hamari Beti Raj Karegi, which launches on December 20th.
Our source states, "Ek Chutki Aasman was to take a leap, and the female lead to play the grown-up Chutki was almost finalized. Sonam Mann had more or less bagged the role and the promo was to be shot, when the channel took the final call and decided to end the show".
When contacted, Chhavi Mittal who essayed the role of Hemangi in Ek Chuti Aasman said, "Yes, even I have heard about the show going off air within two weeks. Since I am not shooting now, I have no confirmation on the same. The last I heard was that the show was taking a leap and the lead girl was almost finalized. So I have no idea why the channel took this abrupt decision".
When contacted, Producer Benafer Kohli of Edit II confirmed that Hamari Beti Raj Karegi starts on December 20th at the 8.30 PM slot.
