A certain report on Sudha Chandran throwing tantrums on the sets of Zee TV's Sanjog Se Bani Sangini has left her angry and upset..

Sudha Chandran who essays the role of Kalki Devi in Zee TV's Sanjog Se Bani Sangini is livid for being termed as 'Unprofessional' in a certain media report. The lady who has given 27 years of her life to the big screen as well as small screen industry has been having severe date problems of late, and is struggling to make both ends meet when it comes to her work!!

A little birdie tells us, "Sudha is presently seen in two shows down South and her prior commitments stop her from continuing with DJ's Creative Unit's Sangini. In South, the actor usually has to give their dates one month in advance and over here, daily soaps work in a cut-to-cut manner with screenplays and scripts being delivered on sets at the last minute. So Sudha has not been able to manage her dates, and has decided to quit Sangini".

But as per the report, Sudha Chandran has apparently been throwing tantrums on sets and has been taking undue leave for holidaying.

However, our source from the production house confirms to TellyBuzz that, "Sudhaji is a very sweet person and we had a great time working with her. She is presently having difficulties managing all her commitments, and it is the date issue that is forcing her to leave Sangini. We tried hard to manage dates, but the very hectic schedule in which daily soaps work over here does not allow for an actor to be given leave in advance. Sudhaji and the production house sorted things out amicably and has left the show now. She is not shooting with us anymore".

Sudha Chandran expressing shock over the wrong statements in the report says, "I have been working in television for more than 27 years now, and to call me 'Unprofessional' is something uncalled for. I never threw tantrums on sets and never went for a holiday. I am busy with my commitments for shows down South, wherein they usually block the actor's dates one month in advance. Over here, daily soaps work on a day to day call time as the screenplays and scripts are not ready till the last minute of shoot. The production house tried their best to sort out things, but that did not happen. It is true that I am not doing Sangini now, but that was an amicable decision taken by both parties".

We hear that Kunika Lal the well known veteran actress of big screen stands a bright chance of bagging the role of Kalka Devi. The other ladies who are short listed happen to be Shoma Anand and Pratima Kazmi..

The decision on the actor replacing Sudha Chandran will be taken very soon!!
