Pariva Pranati makes a comeback to television with Imagine's upcoming show Aarakshan..


TellyBuzz gave its readers exclusive news about Imagine coming up with an offbeat show which will focus on the reservation policy titled 'Aarakshan'. We had also reported that Rahoul Lohani and Muni Jha will play vital roles in the show.

The latest development is that Pariva Pranati who has not been in the limelight for quite a while makes her comeback with this serial. She will be seen playing the female lead in Aarakshan. Pariva was last seen in Sony's Salaam Zindagi and Zee TV's Hamari Betiyoon Ka Vivaah.

Our source tells us, "Even though the channel and production house wanted a new face to play the lead, they zeroed in on Pariva as she perfectly fitted the character. Pariva will play a girl from the upper class while the male lead will be shown as a Dalit. The male lead is a rookie actor".

When contacted, Pariva confirmed the news to TellyBuzz saying, "Yes, I never knew I am coming back to television. I did not want to come back so soon, but things fell in place. I am doing the show Aarakshan for Imagine. I can only tell you this much".

The entire unit is already in Bhopal and they have started shoot. The promo of the show will be on screen very soon. The show is about the reservation quota prevalent for the upliftment of the backward classes, and how the youth of the country are affected by this.

The show is expected to launch at a prime time slot sometime in the last week of November or early December.

As already reported, noted Directors Ravidra Gautam and Keval Sethi will produce the show along with famous writer Kamal Pandey who presently is the writer of the popular show on COLORS, Na Aana Is Des Laado.

We tried calling Producer Ravindra Gautam, but he remained unavailable.
