'Bhaagon Waali' to bring fortune to Zee TV..

Zee TV's next fiction launch will be 'Bhaagon Waali', sometime in the third week of November..


Jay Productions in collaboration with Samidha Khalid's Creative Lab are producing a show for Zee TV, titled Bhaagon Waali, which means the girl with fortune. The story will have a UP backdrop. The tale of the lead girl will be something similar to the Cindrella story wherein she is the pretty and simple girl who is ill treated by her family till she comes across her Prince Charming.

Our source tells us, "As per the title of the show, the female lead is a girl who is very lucky and brings fortune wherever she goes. She resides with her three maternal uncles who make life hell for her. The male lead is basically a street smart guy and the show will trace the love life of the leads".

Himanshu Malhotra has been roped in to play the male lead. The search for the female lead is on, and the channel and production house are looking for a known name. Rita Bhaduri will play the role of dadi in the show, while Vaishal Nazareth will be seen playing Mami of the lead girl.

Our source further adds, "Himanshu has been finalized to play the lead. Madan Tyagi, Sagar Saini and Aadesh will play the maternal uncles of the girl. Rita Bhaduri and Vaishali Nazareth will be playing important roles".

The unit has planned an outdoor shoot at Lucknow by this month end. The show is expected to launch in the third week of November, and will in all probability replace Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo.

Jay Productions are presently producing Shorr Ghoongi Kankoo Ki Bolti Kahaani for Sahara One. Samidha and Khalid, senior writers in the industry for 16 years now will be turning Producers with this show. They will be handling the creative aspects of the show.

We tried contacting Himanshu Malhotra, but he remained unavailable.

However, Rita Bhaduri confirmed her presence saying, "Yes, I am part of the show, but I do not have any clue on my character".

We tried calling Jay Mehta and Khalid, but they remained unavailable.

    it's nice to see old news. we can see here that himmanshoo was cast before nivedita was. and they said they were looking for a known name. good thing, pretty newcomer nivedita came in. nivedita rocks. and what's this, himmanshoo, as guddu, is the prince charming. we have the prince, now we need to see more charming.
