Renowned writer Rajita Sharma's upcoming show for Zee TV has been titled ' Ram Milayi Jodi'..

Rajita Sharma, the acclaimed writer who was earlier associated with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is all set to produce her first show on television. As reported earlier, Rajita's Magic Lantern Productions is presently working on a show for Zee TV, which has Nishant Malkani as lead.

The show which was till now untitled has got its final title in 'Ram Milayi Jodi'. It is a crisp and nice love story wherein two cultures will come together. The female protagonist hails from a Punjabi family, while the guy is from a Gujarati family.

Our source tells us, "It will be a unique feel good show with a sweet ambience, devoid of the high drama quotient. Priyal Gor a fresh face who is sixteen years old has been roped in to play the female lead. She has earlier done a cameo in the serial Ishaan. She will represent the today's woman. Noted actors like Krutika Desai, Lalit Tiwari, Riva Bubbar, Sanjeev Jogtiyani, Indraneil Goswami, Madhuri Sanjiv play the principal cast of the show".

We hear that the unit has just finished with the outdoor shoot at Delhi. The promo of the show is being shot, and will be on air very soon. Ram Milayi Jodi is expected to launch in September, and the slot will probably be prime time.

When contacted, Producer Rajita Sharma told us, "I cannot disclose anything at the moment. All I can say is that it is a very nice show with a positive feel to it".
