Balaji Telefilms' Bandini which airs on Imagine took a leap of six months just last week. The post leap story saw Santo (Aasiya Kazi) don a new look, and the present story line is centred on Dharamraj's (Ronit Roy) marriage to the wicked Dr. Megha (Firdaus).
   
Well, loyal viewers of Bandini have already digested two leaps in the span of six to seven months, but the latest buzz is that there is one more major leap to come in the month of August.

The show has already lost some fabulous characters like Maulik (Shardul Pandit) and Motiben (Rasika Joshi) to some dramatic twists and turns, and the upcoming leap might just pave the way for more characters to go missing from the show.

An insider informs us, "Bandini is all set to have another leap which will move the story forward by 15 long years. The creative team is surely and steadily working towards the track ahead, and things will be finalized in a day or two. The creative team will decide on the characters that will remain post leap".

When asked Aasiya Kazi about the 15 year leap, she said, "Yes, we have heard about the same. But nothing is finalized as of now".

Ask her whether she will continue to be part of the show post leap and the girl is quick to answer, "Yes, I will certainly continue".

Well, we are sure that the same cannot be said of many actors who are presently part of the show. 

We tried calling Sandiip Sikcand, Creative Director but he remained unavailable.

As of now, we will wait for more news to surface regarding this leap…
