Javed Akhtar turns narrator for Chand Chupa Baadal Mein

Javed Akhtar will soon be seen as a narrator in Rajan Shahi’s upcoming fiction show…

Javed Akhtar made an appearance on the small screen with Indian Idol 4 on Sony. Now the award winning lyricist will be seen in a fiction show produced by Rajan Shahi titled Chand Chupa Baadal Mein.

According to our source, "Javed Akhtar will be seen promoting the show and also in few episodes. He will be the one who will support the lead actor Nivedita who is not good looking. Javed Akhtar is also there for the promotion of the show."

The source adds, "Javed will take up the role of a narrator who will brief the audience about the various characteristics of the lead girl. He will take the story forward and give the viewers an idea of what can be expected from the show in future."

The show would also see some new faces like Abhishek Tiwari and Neha Sargam playing the leads.

Chand Chupa Baadal Mein is replacing Sajan Ghar Jaana Hain at 8 pm slot from June 28 on Star Plus.

    EWWWW ITS A rajan shahi show...not watching! after ruining bidaai like hell how can viewers even dare to take another risk no offense lol...but learnt too much from his shows & not even daring to watch this

    ATLEAST give the show a chance before jumping to conclusions! .... From what i can tell the story is about not a good looking girl who has low self esteem and doesnt think anyone can like her and obvs the cast has been picked accordingly! .... People all of a sudden hate rajan shahi because KINSHUK DECIDED he wanted out of bidaai? He cant make kinshuk stay! And for u guys the next solution is to automatically close bidaai! Instead of your emotions think from you brains its the no 1 show how can rajan just close it because one person from the 4 some decides not to do it? ... when theres more than 1 person as leads chances r theres more chances of them leaving , getting replaced etc!....
